Custom and Templated Layouts in Page Sections

Open Berkeley pages have had preset layouts available in different combinations of columns and rows.

In Berkeley Web Builder, pages will still have layout options, but the layout options have been streamlined and functionality has been added to provide more flexibility. Specifically, pages will be built using “sections” in the Customize interface, and either a Custom or a Templated layout may be used in each page section.

Custom page section layouts can use 1, 2, 3, or 4 columns. The 1, 2, and 3-column options can be adjusted by percentage width to create sidebars and content regions in page sections.

Templated page section layouts are layouts with rows that span columns and vice versa. These are the Bartlett, Selby, Webb, and “flipped” versions from Open Berkeley.
