The Berkeley Brand widget set enables you to create and feature content such as images, media, text, and links using built-in style options for Berkeley Brand colors and text. Figure 1, below, provides an example of the widget selection screen with a preview of the Quote block widget.

Add and configure Berkeley Brand widgets

Berkeley Brand widgets are located under the "Berkeley Brand" category on the selection screen (see Figure 1, above) when adding a new widget to a page.

Widget options

As outlined in Add & manage widgets, there are a number of widget options for creating and featuring structured content on your Custom pages and feature-specific content items. These widgets include options to display images and media, create dynamic lists of content, use Berkeley Brand colors, and more. All widgets can be found under the “Customize” tab by selecting the “Add widget” button to see the widget selection screen, which organizes the widget options by category. See Figure 1, below.

Theme and branding

The theme refers to the "look and feel" of the website: The fonts, colors, and other structural elements (i.e., the UC Berkeley wordmark, site name/banner region, main menu, and footer). There are a few theme settings available to Site Builders and Site Managers.

Build your Berkeley Web Builder site by utilizing the generic Basic page and Custom page types for the foundational architecture, and then use some of these additional features for data-specific structures and content integrations and display options.
